The European Meteorological Society consists of scientists who gather to discuss weather, climate, and related applications. The 2009 meeting was held in Toulouse, France, at the headquarters of Météo France, the French national weather service.
Forum International de la Météo

The 2007 event was held in Paris, with a side trip to the champagne region of Reims to learn about the affect of climate change on the grape crop.
