Deterministic forecasts for 6.3 million places around the globe are provided by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The world forecasts are based upon the ECMWF IFS (documentation), grid resolution 0.5 over North America. The fields from IFS are generated at 0000 UTC and 1500 UTC, with a field time step of 3-hr intervals. These are not model output statistics (MOS) such as those used in the United States. They are simply model extracts of the ECMWF model (T-799 ->25 km). Temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Documentation can be found here. Click on date to reveal the forecast.
